Starting a career as a festival singer from her city of birth Medan, the girl whom full name is Yohanna Margaretha Nainggolan produce her own gospel album “My Redeemer” and completed her story as producer, singer, song writer in her first pop albums entitle “Bintang”.

Taking the religious path as a starting point in returning to Indonesia music industry, is not without a reason. To put it firmly, it is because of her gratefulness to Jesus Christ, that He has cure her from the lymph nodes cancer doctors has declared upon her, and also her being cure from a motorcycle accident which has paralyzed her for 6 months from waist down. But overall, music is her passion .

Previously, this petite girl, in her elementary school days had already produce a solo album called “Boasa Lupa Ho Amang” with the help from producer Soalo’on Simatupang whom also produce a popular song called “Anakku Naburju”, other than that ,she also has sang in a few Batak compilation album. In year 2007, she has done duet and backing vocal duties to another talented musician Vicky Sianipar which appear in Toba Dream 3 album and particularly in the song “Leleng”. Together with Vicky Sianipar Band she has filled quite a few national and international events in Indonesia such as Java Jazz International Festival. Everything has been experienced from festival singer to backing vocal and finally lead singer.

“Every song I composed and every sing that I sing, is dedicated to God because of His undying love that i am still given a chance to give back all the talents that God has bestowed upon me. Every albums that I produce will tell the completely story of all my joy, my trouble, and everything that comes from my heart. After all the trouble that keep coming towards me, one thing for sure is that He never leave me. After all that said and done, i am learning more and more to give myself up to Him, enjoy life , control all my emotion, and be grateful always.”
